Run OpenClaw on your own VPS with full root access. It stays online, answers in your chat apps and keeps its memory on a server you control.
OpenClaw

$ ssh root@your-server-ip
$ curl -fsSL https://openclaw.ai/install.sh | bash
$ openclaw onboard --install-daemon
Gateway runningOpenClaw is an open-source assistant under the MIT licence. It connects to the chat apps you already use, such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord and Signal, and keeps its state, memory and credentials on the machine it runs on. You choose the model it talks to.

An assistant that replies in a chat app has to be online all the time. A laptop sleeps and drops off Wi-Fi. A VPS stays up, has its own IP address, and OpenClaw can run there as a background service that starts again after a reboot.
You do the install yourself, so you stay in control. Our support team helps if you get stuck.
Pick a plan and a Linux image such as Ubuntu or Debian. When the server is ready, log in over SSH as root.
ssh root@your-server-ipRun the official install script. It needs Node 24.16 or newer, and the script checks that for you.
curl -fsSL https://openclaw.ai/install.sh | bashThe onboarding steps ask for your model provider and API key and set OpenClaw up as a service, so it keeps running after you log out.
openclaw onboard --install-daemonOpenClaw does not publish a minimum server size. When it sends your messages to a model provider through an API key, the assistant itself is light, so start with a small plan and move up if it feels slow.

An assistant that answers you in a chat app has to be switched on all the time. A laptop sleeps, loses Wi-Fi and gets closed. A VPS stays online, has a fixed IP address, and OpenClaw can run there as a background service that restarts after a reboot.
No. You get a clean VPS with full root access and install OpenClaw yourself, which takes a few minutes with the official install script. Our support team can help with the setup if you get stuck. We do not run or manage OpenClaw for you.
OpenClaw does not publish a minimum server size. If it sends your messages to a model provider through an API key, the assistant itself is light, so a small plan is a fair place to start. You can move to a bigger plan later. Running a model on the server itself needs far more memory and usually a GPU, and our VPS plans are CPU servers.
OpenClaw works with hosted model providers and with local models. For a hosted provider you bring your own account and API key, and you pay that provider for the model usage. WaseerHost only charges for the server.
The OpenClaw docs ask for Node 24.16 or newer, or Node 26.1 or newer, with Node 26 recommended. The official install script checks this for you.
Run "openclaw onboard --install-daemon". On Linux this installs a systemd service, so OpenClaw starts on boot and keeps running when you log out. "openclaw gateway status" shows whether it is up.
Yes. Open a ticket at any hour and a support engineer will help with the server side: SSH access, the firewall, your domain and keeping the service running. For questions about how OpenClaw itself works, the OpenClaw docs are the best source.
