Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use with no account and no sign-up. We only limit how many lookups one visitor can run per minute, to keep the tools fast for everyone.
No. Lookups are cached for a short time so repeated checks are fast, but we don't keep a history of who searched for what, and we don't store visitor IP addresses.
Domain data comes from the registries' RDAP and WHOIS services, DNS answers from public resolvers, IP locations from ipinfo.io and the regional internet registries, and website checks are run live from our own server.
Start with the Website Down Checker to see if the site answers. If it doesn't, use the DNS Lookup to confirm the domain points to the right server, and the Domain Expiry Checker to make sure the domain hasn't expired.
